Thomas' Passion with Photography
This section is all about Thomas' photography.
I have always been fascinated by photographs. My dad started it all by taking countless pictures of me
and the vacations that our small family went on. The memories are priceless and I started early to take
my own pictures so that I can share my experiences with my children some day. I first used a very
simple camera and took mostly black and white photos. Over time I got accustomed to color slides and
only recently switched to digital.
I still have my trusty Minolta, however, the convenience of digital photos has gotten a hold of me, since
my wife gave me one as a wonderful (early) Christmas present in 2003. I have since been shooting with my
Canon Powershot G3 and I am very happy with the ease of use and the image quality of this 4 MegaPixel
camera. It is not the lightest fellow around, but still much easier to carry than my SLR. Not to mention
that I don't have to spend a fortune anymore just to develop the pictures and see the results of my work.
The instant feedback is the greatest plus and I would not want to miss it anymore.
If you are interested in seeing some of my pictures you are welcome to check out our photo album.
Although, you won't find many pieces of art there, you can browse a large number of pictures that
I took over the past few years.
Some more noteworthy photographs can be found in my portfolio. There you will find images that represent
well what kind of photography I am working on.
Enjoy ...
