There is not much new here. The web site hasn't changed much, however, the
photo album has undergone a makeover. All slide pages are now converted to
PHP and blend into the layout of the entire site. In the process, we also shrunk the images in our
photo album and the thumbnails on the index pages to allow for faster loading of the pages.
The photo album now uses about half the space it did before. A few more things have changed
under the hood, but that's just meant to make adding things to the web site easier.
You might have noticed the Weather links on the right. We now have links to show you
the weather at our home in Mountain View, CA and at each of our birthplaces. We thought this might
be an interesting feature. The weather is provided by
Weather Underground, an excellent resource. Weather
Underground provides, among other things, wonderful and very detailed satellite imagery.
The general aviation section has started to take shape, although much more work will be needed
there.
One of the highlights of this month was the 3D Ultrasound of our ALEXANDER and the resulting pictures
have been added to our ALEXANDER page and the photo album. This new kind of ultrasound technology is a
unique way to bond with the ALEXANDER while it is still in mom's tummy.

As promised, we have added some more things to our web site. The menu choices have been expanded.
Thomas now has his own photography and flying section. We also have added three categories 'Baby',
'Trips', and 'Short Walks', where we will slowly add information about the things we have been up
to and interesting links and photos related to our excursions. Over time this should grow into
quite a useful listing of the latest news regarding our ALEXANDER and places to go in and around the
San Francisco Bay Area.
Even though Thomas is not an active pilot at the moment, the two of us are still very much
interested in general aviation. This web site will soon host a section dedicated to general aviation.
There you will mostly find interesting information about general aviation in the Bay Area as well
as some useful links for general aviation information like aviation weather links, places to go,
flying stories, etc.
The webcam has also been changed to now show the parking lot outside Thomas' office. There's
not much going on out there, however, you can now check the weather at 1510 Page Mill Rd in
Palo Alto .

This the completely redesigned home page of Helena and Thomas Janausch. It will keep you up to date on what
we are up to. Although, we will expand it slowly, at the moment it will mostly give you access to our photo
album. With the help of our digital camera many photos will be added. We're still trying to find the ideal
way to organize all the pictures here. Anyway, check out the
photo album
and enjoy.
As many of our friends know, Helena is expecting a ALEXANDER at the end of October 2004.
We are both very excited and are starting to prepare for the new addition to our family. We
have added a new category to our photo album ('Family').
There you will find some of the 'ALEXANDER' pictures that we already have and more will be added
as things progress.
The webcam is located at
DaimlerChrysler RTNA in Palo Alto, CA. In the daytime you will most likely see Thomas sitting there.
To get in touch simply go to 'About Us' to get our contact information.
Enjoy,
Helena and Thomas Janausch
